Donations
Donations are voluntary contributions towards the charitable objects of the foundation. Funds are pooled and allocated to programmes according to need, unless a donor specifies a programme in writing and the foundation accepts that restriction.
Receipts and tax exemption
A receipt is issued for every contribution to the email or address provided by the donor. Donations are eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, subject to prevailing law.
Refunds and cancellations
Donations are generally non-refundable. Where a contribution has been made in error or duplicated, the donor may write to us within 7 days and, on verification, the amount will be returned to the originating account within 15 working days.
Privacy
We collect only the information required to issue receipts, comply with statutory reporting, and keep donors and volunteers informed. Personal data is never sold, rented or shared with third parties except where required by law.
Volunteers
Volunteering is unpaid and at the volunteer's own risk. Volunteers must follow field safety instructions, treat beneficiaries with dignity, and refrain from photography or publicity that identifies a beneficiary without consent.
Corporate and CSR contributions
CSR contributions are accepted under our CSR-1 registration and are reported with utilisation statements as required under the Companies Act, 2013.
